AFL great Luke Hodge and his wife Lauren are ushering in a brand new chapter.
The couple are now proud owners of a palatial six-bedroom home in the Brisbane suburb of Bulimba.
According to PriceFinder, the Hodges paid $4.6million for the sprawling mansion back in June, prior to selling their six-bedroom abode in Brisbane’s Hawthorne this month.
The estate has ample space for the pair and their four children with five bathrooms, a games room, cinema, pool and manicured lawns.
Luke and Lauren can also relax and unwind by the bar or in the outdoor kitchen, with a glass of red from their own wine cellar.
Interiors are opulent with soaring ceilings, whitewashed walls, tiles throughout the open-plan living and dining areas, and a statement granite wall in the ensuite.
Pendant lights, timber detail and subtle pops of colour add to the modern aesthetic.
The grand purchase comes prior to the couple selling their Hawthorne family home.
According to PriceFinder, the six-bedroom estate was sold by Belle Property on August 4 for an undisclosed price, rumoured to be around $2.4million.
The two-storey home contains three bathrooms, a pool and patio area, and offers plenty of curb appeal with its on-trend grey façade and white picket fence.
Interiors take on an urban vibe with exposed brick walls, timber floorboards and grey marble detail in the entertainer’s kitchen.
Luke is an accomplished AFL star, having played for the Hawthorn Football Club and the Brisbane Lions before retiring in 2019.
He is a four-time premiership player, a three-time premiership captain and has received the Norm Smith medal twice.
