The home ownership sector has long been ripe for disruption, with the deposit barrier continuing to challenge Australian’s nationwide.
Coposit, the innovative start-up platform launched in 2021 and spearheaded by CEO Chris Ferris, has already caught the attention of nationwide residential developers and sales agencies including Mulpha, PACE, Geocon, Thirdi Group, Ray White Projects and McGrath Projects, with its platform offering buyers the opportunity to purchase a home with as little as $10,000 in savings.
“We’ve got a good story to tell, and a good problem to solve,” Ferris told Urban.
“With rising interest rates and the general property market at the moment being quite out of reach for many, Coposit is not only helping first home buyers get into the market, but we’re also seeing the likes of downsizers and those who have previously owned property utilising our service – which is why a number of developers are making the move to include Coposit in their projects.”
With Coposit being somewhat of a checklist item for property group’s now days, development group Goldfields are the latest to join the ranks of the movement, teaming up with the platform to give buyers the chance to purchase in their latest residential project, 33 Manning.
“The $10,000 deposit is available on any 33 Manning apartment, which means rather than forking out a $69,000 deposit straight away for a two-bedroom apartment, buyers are able to save their cash and instead invest through weekly instalments, which is much more economical in today’s market” Ferris said.
Nestled in a prime location with views of the city, river, and surrounding suburb, 33 Manning has been designed by award-winning architects Rothelowman and will offer a mix of two and three-bedroom apartments upon completion.
The site is located just minutes away from the bustling centre of Brisbane and features a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses that seamlessly blend with their Milton locale.
The apartments are filled with natural light and feature spacious interiors and exteriors, luxurious finishes, and balconies designed for the Queensland lifestyle.
The rooftop of 33 Manning is designed to enhance residents’ daily experiences, offering a range of amenities for both relaxation and wellness. The rooftop pool is a 250-metre lap pool, with the space complete with dining spaces, a resident’s lounge, workspace, sauna, and zen garden, encompassed in views to the city skyline and nearby Mount Coot-tha.
Conveniently located just two kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, 33 Manning offers easy access to public transportation, including trains, bus, and ferry networks. Residents are also within close proximity to popular amenities such as Suncorp Stadium, the Park Road cafe district, and a growing number of bars and distilleries.
Coposit features predominately throughout Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, which makes up roughly 70 per cent of the off the plan market.
30 projects are currently live using Coposit, with more developers set to sign on with the company having experienced the benefits of the $10,000 deposit scheme.
“In our first project, we saw a range of buyers take part, and every single one of them settled on their home. Most developers who have gotten on board with Coposit are now becoming repeat customers, as the benefits of the deposit scheme are just too good to pass up, both for the buyer and the developer,” Ferris said.
